I did enjoy the evening and met some interesting people. I would have liked to have been closer to the fireworks - but realize the logistics trade-off (less traffic and no crowds). Also, next time, a park with restroom access would be ideal. And if given the opportunity - take away people’s chairs and make them mingle. When we stood up to take the photo, that kind of forced people to talk with others that they didn’t come with. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
2nd Summit at the Glendale Fireworks Display
Bring a picnic, lawn chairs, blankets, and join us in celebrating an early July 4th fireworks show.
Bring a picnic, chairs, blankets, and look for the 2nd Summit flag near the west/southwest corner of the park near Garfield Street. The flag will be posted by 7:00pm and the fireworks will begin at about 9:30pm.

The evening was great! I particularly enjoyed meeting so many new and interesting people. My only suggestion is to use only parks with bathroom facilities of some sort. Otherwise, I’m thrilled to learn about 2nd Summit. Thanks for organizing last night.
