Castlewood Canyon 60 - Road Bike Challenge!
Ready for a longer day on the road?
Join 2nd Summit for a 60-mile round-trip ride from Cherry Creek State Park to Castlewood Canyon State Park and back. This ride is designed for experienced road cyclists who are comfortable with longer distances, a steady pace, rolling terrain and some climbing.

• Start/Finish: Cherry Creek State Park
• Destination: Castlewood Canyon State Park
• Ride Style: Drop/Regroup
We’ll ride south from Cherry Creek State Park through the rolling terrain toward Castlewood Canyon, take a break to regroup and enjoy the scenery, then make the return ride.
Riders should be comfortable riding 50–60 miles, maintaining a steady group pace and handling hills and longer stretches on the road.

Castlewood Canyon is one of the Front Range’s great cycling destinations, with dramatic canyon scenery, open prairie and the remains of the historic Castlewood Dam.
