Denver Film CO 150 Films Series: Red Dawn (1984) 9/27/26
The CO150 Film Festival is a collection of the best cinema ever made in Colorado, about Colorado, or by Coloradans — past and present.
In an alternate 1980s, the United States stands alone as communism grows stronger. When Soviet soldiers invade a small Colorado town, brothers Jed and Matt Eckert escape with friends to the forest.
Joining the screening to share insights into the film on behalf of The Denver Project for Humanistic Inquiry is Dr. Sheila Rucki, Associate Professor of Political Science, and Dr. Andrea Maestrejuan, Associate Professor of History at Metropolitan State University.
