Mixed Taste: Cuba & Andy Warhol
Mixed Taste is back for another summer of mismatched magic, where serious topics meet some not-so-serious fun
In this lecture series, two speakers take the stage with back-to-back talks on completely unrelated topics. Then the audience steps in for the Q&A and takes questions on both topics at the same time. During the first part of the program, no connections are allowed between the topics. During the Q&A, anything can happen. This lecture pairs Anna Alejo, an award-winning journalist and communications leader who serves as Executive Producer of Community Impact at CBS News Colorado with Photographer and curator Mark Sink, who was at the center of the 1980s New York art world, documenting the lives and work of figures including Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and René Ricard.
