Nature Photography Workshop: Close- up and Detail Photography

Photography is about how you see, not just what you shoot with. Digital. 35 mm. iPhone. No matter the equipment, you will walk away from this workshop more confident and creative behind the lens.

The best way to learn art is by doing. By pairing a concise one-hour classroom lesson with a one-hour real-world shooting session in the beautiful surrounding gardens, you get immediate feedback and a chance to lock in your new skills on the spot. Bring whatever camera you love to use—including your phone. Photography is about how you see, not just what you shoot with. The concepts McCory teaches apply beautifully to all types of gear. If you have a tripod or filters (like a polarizing or neutral density filter), feel free to bring them along, but they are completely optional!
