Rosenbery Lecture Series: History for the Curious 11/7/26

Reconciliation, Shared History, and America’s 250th Anniversary. In a moderated conversation focused on reconciliation and shared history, two descendants from different branches of Thomas Jefferson's family will gather to mark America's 250th Anniversary.

The lecture features distant great-grandsons Sal Pace and Shannon LaNier. Representing lineages that remained separated for generations, Pace and LaNier are now collaborating to encourage reconciliation and meaningful dialogue. This dialogue explores the shifting understanding of Jefferson's legacy and the impact of uniting his descendants during the nation's semiquincentennial.
