This was a fantastic event and I'm so glad that I attended. I would never have known about Nocturn without the help of 2ndSummit. This was an elevated, classy venue with incredible music and food, and the group who joined from 2nd Summit made the evening magical.

Fantastic! This was my second time to this venue and it was just as magical as the first time, perhaps more so because I had a nice group of new friends to share it with! The small group was great and it was also nice to have a discount code to reduce the cover charge.

Nocturne has it all - the vibe, exceptional music, delicious food and amazing service. I'd love to make this a regular outing.

It was an excellent event. The pups all had a great time. The sample treats and tables with Swag were cool. The people food for purchase was disappointing but everything else was great.

It was an excellent event. The pups were all having a great time. It was fun they had some sample treats and some tables with Swag. The water infused with bone broth was a nice touch for a pup happy hour. The people food for purchase was disappointing but everything else was great.

It was a nice hike, very enjoyable, and although it was quite hot, nonetheless it was a great way to spend the morning.

Interesting tour to see the theaters and all the spaces to make the non-traveling productions happen (wardrobe, wood & paint shop, set and lighting design, etc.). And we learned the history of the DCPA and all the theaters.

Our guide, Rodger, is awesome. He is knowledgeable, experienced, knows his theater history, capable of keeping stragglers gathered, in line and in a friendly manner. ????it was fabulous seeing the inner workings of the whole complex except the theater that is under construction so we will return. It’s astonishing, what goes into creating a single production. We will be back with young grandsons in tow. They are involved in Crested Butte’s community theater. Thank you for a top notch educational experience.

It was a very interesting and informative tour. I enjoyed learning about the designing of the sets from architectural drawings to scale models and beyond. The costume room was also a highlight. Highly recommend!

One of the best tours I’ve ever taken! The volunteer guide, Rodger has been doing them for 20 years and he’s excellent.

Great event choice.

Suggestions:
Name tags would have been nice.

Info on parking options would have been nice. The DCPA garage charges $18 for two hours. So I parked at a meter for $4 but had to leave the tour a little early.

I was an ambassador, very small turnout, but a great place that I would definitely say try again. I think having the dog option could be popular. Thanks for making it happen!

I had fun, it’s nice to see an organization market to people my age! I will definitely be checking out future events.

Janice Jensen was an incredible guide throughout and was so welcoming and engaging with everyone. A HUGE highlight of the experience :)

I really enjoyed the outing, and was inspired by Emily's enthusiasm and passion for the hummingbirds and her commitment to making it a meaningful experience for all who come. I had imagined the sanctuary would have areas where we might see hummingbirds feeding at different flowers; even though we only saw them from the deck feeding from bird feeders, seeing so many hummingbirds from up close was quite amazing. $70 did seem quite pricey, although I'm also glad to support the sanctuary!

I'm excited about 2nd summit and how you all come up with such innovative ideas for our outings! THANKS!

I had a wonderful walk and talk with a fascinating man. Was disappointed in turnout. Only 3 of us showed up. But very fun regardless.

It was a really wonderful, unique experience that I likely wouldn’t have found if it hadn’t been offered through this organization. The organizer was very communicative and enthusiastic and helpful. The sanctuary owner Emily was very knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about and protective of the hummingbirds that they care for.

I did enjoy the evening and met some interesting people. I would have liked to have been closer to the fireworks - but realize the logistics trade-off (less traffic and no crowds). Also, next time, a park with restroom access would be ideal. And if given the opportunity - take away people's chairs and make them mingle. When we stood up to take the photo, that kind of forced people to talk with others that they didn't come with. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

The evening was great! I particularly enjoyed meeting so many new and interesting people. My only suggestion is to use only parks with bathroom facilities of some sort. Otherwise, I'm thrilled to learn about 2nd Summit. Thanks for organizing last night.

I really enjoyed the event. I arrived a bit late so this may have already occurred, but I thought I would mention. I think it is helpful to have different fun get to know each other activities, within an event, to help people get to know each other. An example might be spending 5 minutes in small groups of 4 to answer some fun questions such as "if you could perform a song, what song would best represent your personality," etc. I hope to get more involved. I also have a question - is there a way for individual members to create events or to get the word out about something that is coming up to see if others would be interested in going. For example, I have attended a few "storytelling" events and it has been a blast. There is one coming up in Denver on July 17th. I thought it might be fun to let people know and to see if people might want to meet up beforehand for dinner.

The Observatory tour was great but also like reconnecting with people I hadn't seen in a long time and making new acquaitances. Will attend the next one if my schedule allows and will do my best to make time for it. The tacos were excellent and much appreciated!

I brought a friend and we ended up sitting and talking with 3 different ladies that were there alone. Very nice to be with a group of people who are the same age group! The tacos were really good! The only disappointment is that we missed the Observatory Tour - as we arrived an announcement was made that a group was heading over and there would be another group but we never heard an announcement.

I found the people I interacted with very warm & friendly - more welcoming than other events of this sort. I have signed up for another 2 events already! Additionally, I visited the website & found it smooth, fast, & easy to use. It looks like there are a lot of great events that are listed - thanks so much!

Great group and nice to see people joining individually. The guided walk wasn't as educational as I had hoped - only a few stops and not sure if all of the information provided was 100% accurate. Would have liked to learn more about the unique geology of the area. Going into the amphitheater was not part of the tour - maybe it should have been for those that had never been and also to be able to see the rock formations up close.

My wife and I simply enjoyed the event. Having a reason to leave ones house to socialize and enjoy our great state is greatly appreciated. The event was special and we enjoyed the camaraderie. It was great to meet some new people who are equally engaged.

This was an awesome experience!! I would highly recommend it on 2 levels: very educational and to be able to feed and pet a kangaroo in a small intimate setting was amazing!
We also were glad to hear about their mission and how well cared for the animals are.

I really enjoyed the walk and discussion. A little earlier start would be nice to avoid the crowds and sun. Will look for other such events--especially if they are up north (think Loveland, Ft. Collins).

As always fun to gather with other like-minded people. One idea, a friend had a business years ago called graffitees (was since sold) and it was basically stick-on bumper stickers with cool sayings to go on the back of shoes and it made me think it'd be cool to have a permanent stick-on or clip on name tag with "2nd Summit" and room to add your name for those who attend various events, could keep them and others get at the time, could attach to the helmet or wherever so the people remember each other like the names on backroads bike bags. That would certainly be useful for me because while it's difficult to engage with people cycling together on busy narrow trails, easy to forget names, who they are especially in helmets and all. FYI. = Both name tag for the people attending and visibility for 2nd summit, name recognition. Hal

It was a great ride with great people! Great fun! A great opportunity to get out and do a ride that I might not otherwise do.
My only feedback-
Maybe at the start of the next ride, advise people to be careful about riding double (next to each other) on the bike path.
There was a couple in front of me riding double & oncoming traffic had difficulty getting around. One guy oncoming almost ran into me (not his fault) and he had quite a few expletives for the guy in our group who riding alongside another rider in our group.
