Colorado Women Homesteaders: An Author Talk with Gail Beaton 9/18/26

Thirteen thousand women proved up on homesteads in Colorado in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. They displayed fortitude and independence to establish homes of their own.

Through diaries, letters, period newspapers, and public records, their stories reveal strong women who helped create the Colorado we know today. During this lecture, author Gail Beaton will bring their experiences, grit, and perseverance to light. A book signing will follow.
