Washington Park, located in southeast Denver, is home to two of the city's largest and most famous floral displays. Spanning 165 acres, the park serves as a stunning urban oasis where visitors can walk through expansive, vibrant floral landscapes. The park's grounds feature two distinct garden areas, each offering a unique visual experience:
The Big Garden: Established in 1917, this sprawling, 3-acre Victorian-style perennial garden contains 54 flower beds and over 15,000 flower varieties. Located on the west side of the park, it features a beautiful elliptical lawn and symmetrical floral arrangements
