A Colorado native who has made his mark on the New York jazz scene, Rico Jones brings a powerful blend of spiritual depth, bold improvisation, and extraordinary musicianship to the stage. Rico began playing saxophone at age 13 in the gospel band at Denver’s Cure d’Ars Church—a formative experience whose spiritual grounding continues to shape his sound today.
