In this lecture series, two speakers take the stage with back-to-back talks on completely unrelated topics. Then the audience steps in for the Q&A and the speakers take questions on both topics at the same time. During the first part of the program, no connections are allowed between the topics. During the Q&A, anything can happen. This lecture pairs Eric Carpio, a museum leader, historian, and cultural advocate dedicated to connecting communities with the stories, places, and traditions that shape Colorado’s heritage with Collin Van Son, a Denver-based playwright, poet, and essayist whose work examines the strange human stories behind nuclear history.
