Mixed Taste: The Ludlow Mining Strike & Street Fashion

Mixed Taste is a lecture series of mismatched magic, where serious topics meet some not-so-serious fun.

In this lecture series, two speakers take the stage with back-to-back talks on completely unrelated topics. Then the audience steps in for the Q&A and takes questions on both topics at the same time. During the first part of the program, no connections are allowed between the topics. During the Q&A, anything can happen. This lecture brings together Tony Garcia, a playwright, director, and actor who serves as the executive artistic director of Su Teatro, one of the nation’s leading Chicano theaters with Brandi McMichael, a creative community builder, producer, and founder of Fashion Denver.
