Morning Social Hike at Meyer Ranch Park 8/30/26
Get outside, enjoy scenic views, and meet great people on one of the Denver area's favorite foothill hikes.
Spend a morning exploring beautiful Meyer Ranch Park with a 2nd Summit Ambassador. Enjoy a relaxed, conversational hike at a comfortable pace, take in the scenic views, and pause for a few photos along the way. Whether you are new to hiking or on the trails every week, you will feel right at home.
We will meet at the overflow parking lot for Meyer Ranch Park, north of Highway 285, 15 minutes before our start time so everyone has a chance to say hello before we head out. Look for your 2nd Summit Ambassador, who will be wearing a 2nd Summit hat. Come enjoy fresh air, great company, and some of the best views in the foothills. We look forward to hiking with you! Directions: Head west up 285 from C-470 for 11.5 miles.

Hi!
The only remotely negative comment I would make is that the group didn’t meet in the overflow carpark as was arranged. However they were easy to find, in the main carpark, especially as Brad had his 2nd Summit hat on.
The hike was well led, fit the description we had received via email, and we had a great time - plenty of conversation whilst wandering through the woods.
I’m already looking forward to the next 2nd Summit hiking opportunity! Thank you, David and Brad!
It was a good hike, not too long or hard, and the people that attended were nice. I think we could have hiked longer or perhaps a future hike could be longer.
