Move with MADD Denver 5K

The Move with MADD Denver 5K is Mothers Against Drunk Driving’s signature community fundraising walk and chip-timed 5K at Sloan's Lake Park that raises vital funds and awareness to end impaired driving and support victims.

Organized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Colorado, the Move with MADD Denver 5K (formerly known as Walk Like MADD) serves as the organization's primary local fundraising event aimed at eliminating drunk and drugged driving while supporting affected victims and their families free of charge. Held annually around the scenic trail at Sloan’s Lake Park, the event brings together community members, survivor families, law enforcement, and local advocacy teams. It features both an official chip-timed 5K run and an untimed walk—alongside options for dog registrations and virtual participants—incorporating an opening ceremony that honors lost loved ones and celebrates survivors before participants take to the course.
