Museum of Contemporary Art Denver
The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver is a bold, non-collecting museum that showcases cutting-edge work by living artists and explores the art and ideas shaping our time.
The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver (MCA Denver) was founded in 1996 as the city’s first dedicated home for contemporary art, and today presents rotating exhibitions rather than a permanent collection. Its architect-designed, light-filled building creates flexible gallery spaces for immersive installations, videos, sculpture, and experimental projects by local, national, and international artists. Through exhibitions, talks, performances, and education programs, MCA Denver serves as a hub for conversation about current culture, inviting visitors to engage critically and playfully with the art of our time.
Open Tuesday through Sunday.
