Browse everythingSharing a drink has always been about more than what’s in the glass — it’s an easy way to spark conversation, swap stories, and feel part of something. In this next chapter of life, it can also be a simple path back to fresh experiences and new connections.
2nd Summit curates wine, beer, and spirits gatherings that are relaxed, unpretentious, and built around conversation first — tasting and learning are the bonus. Whether you’re curious about local breweries, want to finally understand what you like in a wine, or simply enjoy a low-key evening with interesting people, we’re here to make it feel welcoming and straightforward.
We’re starting with the Denver Metro area and thoughtfully growing from there — focusing on small, well-designed events where it’s easy to show up as you are.

Why wine, beer & spirits matters
Connection that feels natural, not forced
It can be hard to meet new people once the built-in routines of work, parenting, or long-standing groups shift. A shared tasting or tour gives you something to do and talk about from the moment you arrive — the drink in your hand is simply a starting point.
Wine, beer, and spirits gatherings work especially well for people who prefer small groups, real conversation, and a sense of ease. You’re not expected to perform or impress — just to show up, be curious, and enjoy the moment with others doing the same.
Curiosity over expertise
Many people are interested in wine, beer, and spirits but feel shut out by jargon or snobbery. 2nd Summit designs these experiences for thoughtful adults who want to understand what they like, not memorize tasting notes.
Guided tastings and tours invite questions, simple comparisons, and personal preference — there are no right answers. It’s learning in the best way: through conversation, shared experience, and a bit of experimentation.
Rituals that mark this next chapter
As life shifts — kids leaving home, careers changing, daily rhythms opening up — many people look for new rituals that feel satisfying and social. A monthly tasting club, an occasional brewery visit, or an annual vineyard trip can become gentle anchors in your calendar.
These gatherings offer structure without pressure. They give you something to look forward to and to share with others, whether you come on your own or bring a partner or friend.
Enjoyment with intention
Thoughtfully designed wine, beer, and spirits events encourage tasting, noticing, and talking, rather than simply consuming. The focus is on savoring flavors, learning a bit of the craft and story behind them, and enjoying the company you’re with.
This slower, more intentional approach can make even a simple drink feel more meaningful — less about quantity, more about quality and connection.

Good to know
I’m not a wine or beer expert. Will I feel out of place?
Our events are built for curious, thoughtful adults, not connoisseurs. Hosts and guides keep things down-to-earth and explain terms as they go. You’re welcome to ask questions or just listen in. The focus is on enjoying yourself and the people around you, not proving what you know.
Are these events heavy drinking parties?
No. 2nd Summit gatherings are designed around tasting, conversation, and learning, with a relaxed, respectful pace. Portions are typically small and intentional, and you’re always free to skip a pour or choose non-alcoholic options when available. The social experience matters more than the amount you drink.
Can I come alone, or is this better with a partner or friend?
You’re welcome either way. Many people come on their own, especially in a new chapter of life when they’re rebuilding routines. Hosts help with introductions and simple icebreakers so you’re not left standing on the sidelines. Couples and friends often attend too, but no one is grouped off or excluded.
What should I expect to spend on these kinds of events?
Costs vary by experience — a casual BYOB gathering may be quite modest, while guided tastings, tours, or classes can be higher depending on venue and inclusions. When we list a specific event, we’ll always share clear pricing and what’s covered, so you can decide what fits your budget and interest.
What should I bring to a wine, beer, or spirits event?
Most events simply ask that you bring yourself and a comfortable curiosity. For BYOB socials, you might bring a bottle you enjoy or want to explore. For tours and classes, we’ll note any practical details in advance — such as walking shoes, weather layers, or whether food is included or available.
How do 2nd Summit events around drinks actually work?
We partner with local breweries, wineries, bars, and educators to shape small, hosted experiences. You sign up in advance, arrive at the set time, and our host or the venue’s guide leads the group through tastings, stories, and conversation. Capacity is kept manageable so it’s easy to hear, ask questions, and connect with others.
