Could you be the ambassador for mountain biking trails & events?
An ambassador is the friendly face at the door: there a quarter of an hour early, greeting people by name where they can, making sure nobody stands on their own. It's low-key, and ambassadors get perks along the way, including a discount on Plus membership.
I’d like to hear moreRaising a hand doesn’t commit you to anything — someone from the team will talk it through with you first.
We're still finding the right cycling & biking to bring you.
Browse everythingCycling can be as simple as a slow roll on a greenway or as focused as training for a longer ride. Whether you’re dusting off an old bike or curious about trying one for the first time, this is a low-impact way to stay active, explore your city, and feel the wind again.
2nd Summit is building relaxed, well-hosted biking experiences in the Denver Metro area—short spins, skills sessions, and low-pressure group rides designed for real people, not racers. No expectations, no performance talk, just time outside with others who are also asking what’s next.
We’re curating partners, routes, and workshops now so that when you show up, you know it’s thoughtful, welcoming, and right-sized for where you are today.
Casual rides on paths and mellow gravel—great if you enjoy scenic routes without traffic or intense technical terrain.
Friendly road rides with clear pacing and regroup points—ideal if you like structure and conversation more than competition.
Unpaved backroads and smooth dirt routes—perfect if you want a bit of adventure without busy streets or big crowds.
Intro-friendly trail rides and gatherings—good for curious riders who want to try dirt singletrack with guidance and support.
Hands-on sessions to learn basic bike care and simple fixes—helpful if you want confidence before heading out to ride.
Supported longer-distance and cause-focused rides—best for riders who enjoy training toward a shared, meaningful goal.
Guided routes and access to e-bikes—great if you’d like more range, less strain, and an easy way to explore new areas.
Instructional sessions on handling, safety, and confidence—ideal for newer riders or anyone returning after time away.
Cycling offers steady movement without pounding your joints, which can feel kinder than running or high-impact classes. You choose the effort—an easy roll on a path, a short hill to wake things up, or a longer ride when you’re ready.
For many people in a new chapter of life, bikes are a way to stay active without feeling like you’re “working out.” You get fresh air, changing scenery, and the simple satisfaction of covering real ground under your own power.
A bike changes how you see familiar places. Neighborhoods, rivers, and parks become connected by quiet streets, greenways, and hidden cut-throughs you might never notice from a car.
Well-planned rides can highlight local history, art, and nature along the way. It turns “exercise” into a small adventure—time to look around, notice details, and feel more rooted in where you live.
Riding side by side—or pausing together for water or a view—creates unforced chances to talk. You don’t have to “network” or entertain anyone; the route and the rhythm of the ride give you something to share right away.
Group rides and workshops often lead to familiar faces you’re glad to see again. Over time, those casual bike conversations can grow into riding partners, new friendships, and a sense of belonging that stretches well beyond the saddle.
Picking up cycling skills—whether that’s shifting more smoothly, handling a gravel corner, or fixing a flat—can be surprisingly satisfying. It reminds you that you’re still very capable of learning and adapting.
In this next chapter, many people are rethinking how they spend their days. Biking offers both the comfort of something simple and the stimulation of new techniques, routes, and goals when you’re ready for them.

Something you love that you'd like to share with people — a walk you know, a table you'd set, a thing you'd teach. Tell us and we'll talk it through.
Yes. 2nd Summit designs cycling experiences with people like you in mind—curious, maybe a bit rusty, not interested in racing. Future offerings will clearly describe distance, terrain, and pace, so you can choose what truly fits. There’s space to ease back in, ask questions, and stop when you need to.
Most 2nd Summit biking experiences will be low- to moderate-intensity, with relaxed pacing and options to shorten routes where possible. You should be comfortable sitting on a bike and pedaling steadily, but you don’t need to be fast or “in training.” Each event description will outline expected effort so you can pick what feels right.
A bike that fits you, is in safe working order, and matches the surface (pavement, gravel, or trail) is the main requirement. A helmet is essential, and we recommend comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, water, and basic weather layers. Some experiences may include rentals or demos—those details will be listed clearly.
Coming solo is completely welcome. 2nd Summit rides and workshops are designed so it’s easy to show up on your own and still feel part of the group. Hosts and guides help with introductions and route briefings so you’re not left guessing what to do or where to go.
Costs can vary depending on the type of experience—casual community rides may be free or low-cost, while skills clinics, tours, or rental-based outings can be higher. 2nd Summit will always share pricing up front, including what’s included (guides, support, rentals, etc.), so you can decide what fits your budget and interest.
We’re currently shaping a mix of rides, workshops, and small-group experiences in the Denver Metro area. When events are scheduled, you’ll see clear details on location, distance, terrain, and group size, along with a simple way to save your spot. You choose the activities that match your comfort level and curiosity, and we focus on making them welcoming and well-organized.
