Could you be the ambassador for happy hour meetups?
An ambassador is the friendly face at the door: there a quarter of an hour early, greeting people by name where they can, making sure nobody stands on their own. It's low-key, and ambassadors get perks along the way, including a discount on Plus membership.
I’d like to hear moreRaising a hand doesn’t commit you to anything — someone from the team will talk it through with you first.
Dining & Food Social events with 2nd Summit are built around simple pleasures — a good meal, a favorite drink, and people you actually enjoy talking with.
From relaxed happy hours to small-group dinners, coffee tastings, and cheese-and-charcuterie evenings, we keep things welcoming and unhurried. You show up as you are — we take care of the details so it’s easy to connect.
Whether you’re new to Denver Metro, in a fresh life chapter, or just ready to mix up your routine, these gatherings offer a low-pressure way to find your people around the table.
Casual after-work or early evening drinks for easy conversation — ideal if you want something social but low-commitment.
Small-group dinners at local spots — great if you enjoy trying restaurants with built-in company and conversation.
Late-morning meetups over coffee and brunch — perfect if nights out aren’t your thing but you enjoy lingering conversation.
Hands-on, social cooking sessions where learning is shared and relaxed — for curious home cooks at any comfort level.
Guided tastings and neighborhood food walks — suited to people who like discovering new flavors and local spots together.
Multi-stop meals moving from place to place — ideal if you like variety, light walking, and changing conversation partners.
Shared meals where everyone contributes something simple — for people who enjoy hosting energy without the stress.
Recurring small-group dinners with familiar faces — great if you prefer deeper conversation over loud, one-off outings.
Sitting down over a drink or a shared plate lowers the stakes. You don’t need an agenda, an elevator pitch, or a big story — the menu and the moment give you something easy to talk about.
For many in a next chapter of life, existing social circles have shifted. Regular, well-hosted meals offer a gentle structure for finding new connections without feeling like you’re “on the spot.”
When work, family, or daily patterns change, it’s easy for days to start blurring together. A monthly brunch club or recurring supper club becomes a touchstone — something to look forward to and plan around.
These small rituals help rebuild a sense of rhythm and belonging, not by packing your calendar, but by choosing a few experiences that feel meaningful and repeatable.
Dining & Food Social events are about more than eating. A coffee tasting, cheese and charcuterie evening, or guided food tour invites you to learn a bit — about flavors, stories, and the people across the table.
You don’t need foodie credentials. Curiosity is enough, and shared discovery has a way of opening up conversation that feels natural, not forced.
These gatherings are intentionally relaxed. You can come solo or with a partner or friend, stay for a short time or the whole evening, talk a lot or mostly listen.
2nd Summit hosts help with intros and flow, so you’re not left hovering on the edges. The focus is on comfort, not performance — no expectations to eat or drink more than you want, or to be “on” all night.
Have an idea of your own?
Something you love that you'd like to share with people — a walk you know, a table you'd set, a thing you'd teach. Tell us and we'll talk it through.
No. Our dining and tasting events are designed for curious people, not experts. Hosts and partners provide gentle guidance and context, but you can simply enjoy what’s served. Questions are welcome, and there’s never a test at the end.
You’re welcome either way. Many people come on their own, especially when they’re new to 2nd Summit or in a fresh life chapter. Hosts help with introductions and table mix so you’re not left trying to break into existing groups.
Event pages will note when menus can flex for common preferences, and there’s usually a way to participate even if you don’t eat everything. For more specific needs, we encourage you to check the event details and reach out in advance so we can share what’s possible.
Most Dining & Food Social gatherings are casual to smart-casual. Think what you’d wear to meet a friend at a neighborhood restaurant or café. If a particular event calls for something different, we’ll say so clearly in the description.
Costs vary by format — a simple happy hour may just be the price of your own drink, while hosted dinners, tastings, and classes have a set fee. Each event clearly outlines what’s included so you can decide what fits your budget and interest before you RSVP.
Once you sign up, you’ll receive details on timing, location in Denver Metro, and what to expect. A 2nd Summit host or partner will greet you, help with seating and intros, and guide the flow of the evening so you’re free to focus on the food and conversation.
