Here is everything else in running & walking. If mall walking groups is your thing, you could be the one who starts it.
Could you be the ambassador for mall walking groups?
An ambassador is the friendly face at the door: there a quarter of an hour early, greeting people by name where they can, making sure nobody stands on their own. It's low-key, and ambassadors get perks along the way, including a discount on Plus membership.

We're still finding the right running & walking to bring you.
Browse everythingRunning and walking with 2nd Summit are about fresh air, easy conversation, and moving at a pace that feels right for you.
Whether you’re lacing up for the first time in years or already logging regular miles, our gatherings are casual, well-planned, and built around people — not performance. Think friendly neighborhood walks, low-key group runs like our Golden Hour Run, and routes chosen for safety and scenery.
You bring comfortable shoes and a bit of curiosity. We’ll bring thoughtful routes, welcoming hosts, and a community of people who are also exploring what’s next.

Why running & walking matters
Movement that fits real life
Running and walking are some of the simplest ways to stay active in this next chapter — no complicated gear, and you can start from almost any baseline.
By focusing on friendly routes, mixed paces, and low-pressure formats, 2nd Summit makes it easier to build movement into your week in a way that feels sustainable, not stressful.
Headspace, not just footsteps
Putting one foot in front of the other has a way of clearing the mind. A steady walk or easy run creates a natural pause from routines, screens, and to‑do lists.
Whether you’re sorting through a transition, thinking about what’s next, or just needing some breathing room, time on a path or sidewalk can offer quiet clarity without needing to sit still.
Connection at your own pace
Side-by-side movement makes conversation easier — there’s no pressure to perform or “be on,” just a shared route and a common rhythm.
Our walking and running experiences welcome people who come solo or with a friend, with room for both casual chat and repeat meetups where familiar faces become real connections.
Choosing progress over pressure
Many people in their next chapter are rebuilding routines — after big career shifts, kids leaving home, or other life changes. Starting (or restarting) movement can feel intimidating.
2nd Summit designs runs and walks that emphasize gradual progress, options to walk or run-walk, and a focus on how you feel, not how fast you go.

Good to know
I’m not a runner. Are these activities still for me?
Absolutely. Many 2nd Summit experiences in this category are purely walking-focused, and even our group runs typically welcome run-walk and walking paces. You can always choose the pace and distance that feel right for you. We design routes and groups so you’re not left behind.
What fitness level do I need to join a walk or run?
If you can comfortably walk for 20–30 minutes, you’ll be able to enjoy most of our walking experiences. Group runs often include shorter, conversational-pace options. Details for each event will note approximate distance, terrain, and pacing so you can decide what fits your current level.
What should I bring to a 2nd Summit walk or run?
Comfortable walking or running shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a water bottle are usually enough. For outdoor events, layers, sun protection, and a small pack or waist belt can be helpful. If poles or other gear are recommended, we’ll spell that out in the event description.
Can I come alone, or is this better with a friend?
You’re welcome either way. Many people come on their own and appreciate that our hosts help with introductions and set a friendly, low-key tone. If you bring a friend or partner, it can be a simple way to share time together while trying something new.
How much do these activities usually cost?
Costs vary by experience. Some neighborhood walks may be free or low-cost, while organized charity walks or local races often have registration fees set by the organizer. Any 2nd Summit-hosted event will list pricing clearly and up front so you know what to expect before you sign up.
How do 2nd Summit running and walking events work?
Each event has a clear meeting spot, an on-site host, and a route planned with safety and enjoyment in mind. Before you start, we review the plan, pacing options, and any regroup points. Afterwards, there’s often time to linger for a snack, a drink, or a bit more conversation if you’d like.
