Here is everything else in team & social sports. If bowling leagues is your thing, you could be the one who starts it.
Could you be the ambassador for bowling leagues?
An ambassador is the friendly face at the door: there a quarter of an hour early, greeting people by name where they can, making sure nobody stands on their own. It's low-key, and ambassadors get perks along the way, including a discount on Plus membership.

We're still finding the right team & social sports to bring you.
Browse everythingTeam and social sports are one of the simplest ways to stay active and connected. You get a bit of movement, a bit of friendly competition, and a lot of time to laugh with people who enjoy the same games you do.
At 2nd Summit, we focus on welcoming, recreational play in the Denver Metro area — bowling nights, casual leagues, and pick‑up games designed for people in their next chapter of life. No tryouts, no pressure, just well-organized ways to get back on the court, field, or lane.
We’re curating partners and programs now, so this page is your home base as new team and social sports opportunities come together.

Why team & social sports matters
Movement that feels more like play than exercise
Not everyone is excited by treadmills or intense workouts — but a relaxed softball game or casual volleyball rally can be a different story. Team sports bring in small bursts of movement, balance, and coordination without making fitness the focus.
When you’re tracking the ball or lining up a shot, you’re less aware of “working out” and more absorbed in the moment. That kind of playful movement can be easier to stick with, especially as routines change in this next chapter.
Built‑in community, one game at a time
A team gives you something many of us miss after big life transitions: a regular group that expects you, knows your name, and shares small wins with you. Showing up for a weekly league or pick‑up game creates familiar faces and easy conversations over time.
For people who aren’t drawn to formal networking or large events, team and social sports offer a simple structure — you come to play, and connection happens naturally around that shared focus.
Learning, adapting, and staying mentally sharp
Even the most relaxed games ask your brain to stay engaged — reading the field, anticipating a pass, choosing a shot. Team sports encourage quick decisions and gentle problem‑solving in motion.
If you’re trying a sport for the first time or returning after years away, there’s also the quiet satisfaction of learning new skills, adjusting your style, and seeing small improvements week by week.
A fresh chapter doesn’t have to mean starting from scratch
Big life changes can leave gaps where work teams, school communities, or kid‑focused activities used to be. Team and social sports offer a familiar format — practice, games, post‑game chats — without the pressure of earlier years.
You can bring your experience, your sense of humor, and your pace. The goal is to keep what you loved about playing in the past, and leave behind the parts that no longer fit.

Good to know
I haven’t played in years. Is this still for me?
Yes. 2nd Summit focuses on recreational, low‑pressure play that meets people where they are now, not where they were in their most competitive days. Many participants will be returning to a sport after a long break, so events are chosen with flexibility and a wide range of experience in mind.
What kind of fitness level do I need for team and social sports?
Most offerings will be light‑to‑moderate in intensity, with options to sub out or rest as needed. You should be comfortable with basic movement like walking on uneven ground or short bursts of activity, but you don’t need to be in peak condition. Each specific event listing will describe the pace and any physical considerations so you can choose what fits.
Can I come alone, or do I need a full team?
You are welcome to come on your own. A big part of 2nd Summit’s role is helping individuals find teams, fill open spots, or join small‑group sessions. Event details will note whether we’re forming teams on site, assigning people in advance, or partnering with existing leagues that can place you.
What should I bring to a typical game or league?
In most cases, you’ll want comfortable clothing you can move in, closed‑toe athletic shoes, and a water bottle. Some sports may suggest light layers for outdoor play or sport‑specific gear, but we aim to avoid long shopping lists. Any required equipment beyond the basics will be clearly listed with the event so you can decide if it’s a good match.
How much do these activities usually cost?
Costs can vary depending on the sport, facility, and whether it’s a drop‑in game or a full league season. Some options may be free or low‑cost through community partners; others may include league or court fees. Each event page will outline pricing clearly so there are no surprises, and you can pick what works for your budget.
How do 2nd Summit team sports events work in Denver?
2nd Summit curates and coordinates with local leagues, facilities, and organizers across the Denver Metro area, focusing on welcoming, well‑run experiences. As new team and social sports opportunities are confirmed, you’ll be able to browse them, see the pace and format, and decide what feels right for your next season of play.
