Could you be the ambassador for chair yoga?
An ambassador is the friendly face at the door: there a quarter of an hour early, greeting people by name where they can, making sure nobody stands on their own. It's low-key, and ambassadors get perks along the way, including a discount on Plus membership.

Yoga and Pilates with 2nd Summit are less about touching your toes and more about finding your footing in a new chapter of life. We look for classes and studios that welcome real bodies, rusty skills, and honest questions.
From greenhouse yoga in tucked-away Denver spaces to simple mat Pilates in small studios, we focus on low-pressure settings where you can show up as you are, explore new routines, and leave feeling a little more grounded.
Whether you’re rolling out a mat for the first time or returning after a long break, our goal is the same—gentle structure, thoughtful instruction, and room to breathe.
Slower, steady classes that focus on basic postures and breathing—great if you’re easing back into movement or prefer a calm pace.
Yoga in parks, gardens, and greenhouses—ideal if you like fresh air, natural light, and a relaxed, social feel.
Linking breath with movement in a flowing sequence—suited to those who enjoy a bit more energy while still staying mindful.
Gentle yoga using a chair for support—good if you’re rebuilding strength, have limited mobility, or simply prefer extra stability.
Core-focused work on a mat to build strength and alignment—helpful if you want better posture and everyday stability.
Thoughtful yoga for people who like to stay on the move—great cross-training for walking, cycling, hiking, and everyday life.
Half-day and daylong yoga gatherings with time to move, reflect, and connect with others in a relaxed setting.
Small-group sessions using reformer machines for guided, low-impact strength and alignment work with close instructor attention.
Yoga and Pilates build the kind of strength, balance, and ease that show up in everyday moments—carrying groceries, climbing stairs, or spending an afternoon exploring a new neighborhood.
Because these practices are adaptable, you can start gently and adjust as you go. You’re not training for a competition; you’re tuning your body to support the life you want to live next.
Big life shifts can come with a noisy mind—plans to make, identities to reframe, questions about what comes next. The simple structure of a yoga or Pilates class offers a brief, welcome pause.
Breath, slow movement, and focused attention give your brain a different kind of work to do. Many people leave class feeling a bit clearer and more present, without needing to label it as anything more than an hour well spent.
If yoga or Pilates feel intimidating, you’re not alone. 2nd Summit looks for instructors and spaces that meet people where they are—whether you can hold a plank or prefer a supported stretch.
You’ll see modifications, props, and options rather than pressure. The goal is exploration: noticing what feels good, what feels challenging, and what you might like to build over time.
Moving in a room with others creates a quiet but real sense of belonging. You don’t need to chat through class to feel it—just showing up alongside people in a similar life chapter can be grounding.
Many of our events leave a bit of space before or after for simple conversation. It’s an easy way to meet people who also care about staying active, curious, and connected.
Have an idea of your own?
Something you love that you'd like to share with people — a walk you know, a table you'd set, a thing you'd teach. Tell us and we'll talk it through.
Yes. We focus on gentle, well-instructed classes where you can move at your own pace. Instructors offer modifications, and it’s always fine to rest or skip a pose. You won’t be singled out for doing less or moving more slowly.
Comfortable clothes you can move in and a water bottle are usually enough. Some locations provide mats and props; others ask you to bring your own. When you sign up, we’ll share details on mats, socks, and anything else that might be helpful.
No prior experience is required for most 2nd Summit–friendly offerings. Classes are chosen for clear instruction and an inclusive feel. If something is better suited to people with some background, we’ll say so up front so you can choose what fits.
Absolutely. Many people arrive on their own, especially when they’re trying something new. Our hosts and partners make it easy to check in, find a spot, and settle in without feeling out of place. Conversation tends to happen naturally before or after class.
Costs vary by studio and format—drop-in classes, series, and special events are all priced a bit differently. We look for options that feel like a good value for thoughtful instruction and well-run spaces. Any fees, passes, or memberships will be clearly listed before you commit.
You’ll choose an offering through 2nd Summit, then we’ll share where to go, when to arrive, and what to expect. On site, you’ll check in with the host or front desk and meet the instructor. The experience is guided from start to finish so you can relax into the class rather than worry about logistics.
